The European Union might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” visa bans issued by the US on five Europeans involved in fighting online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

EU Officials Condemn US Move as ‘Coercion’

European leaders such as the French president accused the US administration of “coercion and intimidation”, after the travel bans were placed on figures that were at the heart of efforts to introduce laws regulating US-based technology firms.
